Welcome to Room 106! My name is Kristin Space and I am so excited to be part of this wonderful school family. More importantly, I am thrilled to be your child's teacher. It's going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures. I can't wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know all about you, but first I'm going to tell you a few things about me.
I was born and raised in Ravenna (a small town in NE Ohio). I went to Kent State University and majored in Early Childhood Education and couldn't wait to graduate and start teaching. I spent one year as an Intervention Tutor and another year substitute teaching. My husband Carl and I moved to Columbus for jobs in 2011 and I've been teaching first grade ever since. We have two young children named Ava and Noah. We also have 2 yorkie-poo dogs, Emma & Milo.
I am looking forward to a great year. Go Vikings!
