Hi and welcome to room 1D!  I feel so blessed to have been teaching for nine years and in those nine years I have spent the majority of my teaching career in the wonderful world of first grade.  A few years ago, I taught third grade and it was an amazing experience.  I have a minor in Spanish and I use Spanish often in my classroom  I also have a love for vocabulary and I use my "Superhero Words" in my classroom everyday!  I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  This past summer I finished enough hours to earn a Masters Plus.

I love running, shopping, anything Superhero, and I love playing with my three dogs, Kiwii, Ariia, and Sadie.  

I have wanted to be a teacher since the fourth grade!  I love sharing my passion of learning with your children.  It is truly a dream come true!
