Open Enrollment Information

Open Enrollment Now Available for the 2026–2027 School Year!

Northridge Local Schools is excited to welcome students from across Ohio through our Open Enrollment program. Students who live outside of our district boundaries but reside within the state of Ohio may apply. Acceptance is based on space availability by grade level and in specialized programs.

How to Apply for Open Enrollment (Grades K–12)

Step 1:
Complete the Open Enrollment Application:

You may fill it out digitally, but be sure to save, print, and sign the form before submitting.

Step 2:
Gather required documents:

• Proof of Residency (e.g., current utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement)

• Additional Documentation if applicable:

  • Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan

  • Custody agreements

Step 3:
Submit your completed application and required documents using one of the following options:

You are welcome to drop off your completed application and required documents Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at:

To access the office, please proceed up the silver platform under the white awning and ring the doorbell for assistance.

Important Notes:

• Applications must be approved before you can proceed with student registration.

Open Enrollment Renewals (Current Students)

If your child is currently open-enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year, you will receive a renewal application by mail in April 2026.

• A current proof of residency must be included with the renewal.

• Renewal deadline: June 1, 2026
  Renewals submitted after this date will be treated as new applications and reviewed in August.
